Christmas List Version One

I just got Jackson's first Christmas list of the year... I have been hearing wants but now it's official.  Here it goes:

1) Deblob (not sure what this is??)

2) The Simpsons Season 11 boxed set

3) Wario's (some word I can't read) Shake It

4) iPod Touch (so he can play games, watch YouTube, and play on internet whenever)

5)Mobile Me (he wants a calender on his iTouch)

6)Buckugun (I have no idea what this is or its actual spelling)

7) Lego Batman sets

8) N64

9)Super Mario 64

My kid dreams big doesn't he??

Mom is keeping up in real life :)

I promise I haven't been neglecting my kid like I have this blog about him.... I'll get it updated soon :)

Jackson's Units

This year Jackson's class will be studying:

-Trees
-Maps
-Communities
-Rocks
-Musicals/Theaters
-Potatoes (this unit a lot about history and migration... potato famine---> people moving to US which will/can lead to other similar stories)
-Insects

The kids love to have 'experts' come talk to them and give presentations ~ so if any of you know anything about or related to any of the topics above and would like to talk to the class or have field trip opportunities let me know and I'll get you in contact with his teacher.

Trees Trees

Jackson's first project at school is about trees so this afternoon he took some pictures of the remains or the trees we had removed to share with the class. Here are the pics he took:

Fair 2008

Of course we went to the fair a few times... this year Jackson experienced his first concert (The Nadas) and enjoyed lots and lots of food. Here are some pics:

Minnesota Trip

Jackson, Sone, and I went to Minneapolis for two days and one night. Went to Children's Museum, Science Museum (Star Wars exhibit, lots of neat exhibits, and educational mini golf), The Mall of America, IKEA, and the Minnesota Zoo... here is a slide show of some of our pics:
